

Excellent interpersonal (oral, written, presentation) skills. Knowledge of anatomy, physiology and vascular systems. Ability to work in sensitive areas including the OR and critical care units. Physical dexterity to operate a variety of complex stationary and mobile radiation producing equipment and mechanical accessories. Current CPR certification thru the American Heart Association. Registered in Radiologic Technology by the ARRT, a current and valid license from the State of NJ DEP. New graduates with certification considered. Practical experience as a Radiographer preferred.

Must obtain registry within one (1) year of employment. Must keep abreast of all imaging protocols and new imaging equipment.Ĭompletion from an accredited Radiology Technology program and registered by the ARRT, or registry eligible. Maintains facilities are in proper order. Verifies patient identification process prior to imaging, selects patient from worklist, ensures exam is archived on the PACS and completed properly in the RIS. Produces detailed images of patients for diagnostic information. Operates radiation producing equipment following specific physician orders.
